NIRVANA- zapewne przez wielu znany zespół, w którego w skład wchodził lider, wokalista Kurt Cobain, gitarzysta basowy oraz współzałożyciel Nirvany Krist Novoselic, także (najdłużej grający w zespole ze wszystkich perkusistów) Dave Grohl. Zdobyli ogólnoświatową sławę poprzez premierę albumu "Nevermind" oraz singla promującego album "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Dzięki temu byli prekursorami podgatunku muzyki rockowej: grunge.

W 1994 Kurt Cobain popełnił samobójstwo w swoim domu w Seattle. Najprawdopodobniej sława, którą zdobył w tak szybkim czasie, narkotyki oraz problemy związane z żoną były przyczyną śmierci Kurta. Pozostawił on wtedy swoją żonę Courtney Love i córkę Frances Bean Cobain. 

NIRVANA- was an American rock band formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in 1987. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990.Nirvana found unexpected success with "Smells Like Teen Spirit", the first single from the band's second album Nevermind. In 1994 Kurt Cobain he committed a suicide in his home in Seattle. Probably, the cause of death was unexpected gain fame, problems with his wife and drugs.
