Shalamar - A Night To Remember
Rok 1982. Lipcowa gorąca noc. BBC emituje swój cotygodniowy program "Top Of The Pops", a w nim dwudziestka najlepiej się sprzedających w tym okresie singli. Pozycja nr 5 to zespół Shalamar z utworem "A Night To Remember". Lecz zamiast normalnego dla tego programu, czyli z playbacku, występu całego zespołu, na parkiecie pojawia się tylko jeden z jego wokalistów, a mianowicie Jeffrey Daniel. Następne trzy minuty to pokaz jego niewiarygodnego tańca ochrzczonego później mianem "Moonwalk dance". Konkludując, polecam do oglądnięcia i posłuchania :
July 1982. The hot summer night. The BBC broadcasts its weekly program "Top of the Pops" which presenting twenty best-selling singles in UK at that moment. Peaked at number 5 is the New York based group Shalamar with the song "A Night To Remember". But instead of the performance ( from playback ) of the hole group, which is typical for this show, only one of all its members, a vocalist Jeffrey Daniel steps on the dancefloor in the studio. Next three minutes belong to him and he shows his incredible dance skills later dubbed as the "moonwalk dance". In conclusion, I recommend to watch and listen:
